8,871 take teachers’ licensure exams in Baguio, Laoag, Rosales

The Board for Professional Teachers and the Professional
Regulation Commission (PRC) Baguio Regional Office conducted theLicensure
Examination for Teachers (LET) in Baguio, Laoag and Rosales Sept.30.
Teofilo Gaius M. Sison Jr., PRC regional director said 8,871
took the LET in three areas supervised by the Baguio Regional Office. Administered to 6,301 in Baguio, 1,023 in
Laoag, and 1,547 in Rosales, the LET is one of the biggest licensure examinations coordinated by the
regional office.
The conduct of LET is supported by Laoag City Government through Mayor Michael V.
Fariñas for Laoag LET; Provincial Government of Pangasinan through Governor
Amado T. Espino and Former Congressman Conrado M. Estrella
III for Rosales LET; Philippine National Police, National Bureau of
Investigation, Department of Education, and colleges/universities concerned
also extended assistance.
Sison commended the provincial and city governments,
Philippine National Police, National Bureau of Investigation, DepEd, media
outfits, various colleges and universities, PRC Central Office and Area
Delegations for the efficient and honest conduct of the examination.
Exam results will be released after 40 working days. Examinees
can verify their grades/ratings at www.prc.gov.ph by clicking Online Verification of
Ratings (OVR).
