Former Narvacan b’gay head shot dead

NARVACAN, Ilocos Sur - A former village chairman here was immediately killed Dec. 17 after he was peppered with automatic gunfire right in front of his house.

Police bared this saying former Barangay Orenze chairman and businessman JojoEstacio, 38, was in front of the gate of his residence when riding-in-tandem assassins came and fired without hesitation.

Four empty shells of a caliber 45 firearm were found where the former village leader was killed.

The problem of riding-in-tandem assassins have long been pestering both Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte provinces, including other Ilocos provinces like Pangasinan and La Union despite efforts by authorities to curb such.
