Sugarcane farm burned in Isabela

DELFIN, Isabela – At least two hectares of
sugarcane farm were allegedly burned by people claiming the tract of land here
in Barangay Villa Pereda on Dec. 8
Provincial Police Director Senior
Superintendent Franklin Mabanag said Tomas Pascual, a resident of the adjacent
town of Tumauini, owned the plantation.
He said charges were being mulled by the
owner against the arsonists who were reportedly getting bolder in pressing fr
their ownership over the area. – Charlie
