Ex-Army soldier shot dead in Pangasinan town

MANGATAREM, Pangasinan – A former Army soldier was shot dead along Barangay Punta in this town last week. 

Reynaldo Ferrer, 50, a resident of Mabinistreet, was riding a motorcycle Jab. 5 with two companions on his way home to Urbiztondo from Mangatarem when he was shot upon reaching Caanitan Bridge, said Chief Insp. Fidel Junio, police chief here. 

Police are still conducting an investigation on the possible motive for the crime.

Ferrer’s companions could not be located.
