Lady priest dean of All Saints Cathedral

BONTOC, Mountain Province -- Bontoc. Bishop Brent Harry Alawas of the Episcopal Diocese of Northern Philippines installed Rev. Lucrecia CawaloTurtem as the new dean of the Cathedral of All Saints  March 9.

Padi Luc, as she is being called by peers and congregation members, graduated Bachelor of Science in Theology at the St. Andrew’s Theological Seminary, Quezon City in 1993.

In 1998, she was ordained as deacon at St. Gabriel’s Church, Lubon, Tadian. She was assigned at the Cathedral of the Resurrection, Baguio City, Youth Coordinator of EDNP and    Cathedral of All Saints under the supervision of Fr. Daniel Carińo. 

Padi Turtem was ordained as priest at the St. Michael and All Angels Parish, Poblacion, Tadian in 2007. She was the vicar of St. Ignatius Church in Kayan, Tadian before she was installed as dean of CAS.

Padi Luc is married to Fr. Archi, who belongs to batch 94 and is assigned at St. Michael and All Angels church. They have two young kids namely; Dom-ay and Heran.
