'Salvage' victims found along Baguio road

BAGUIO CITY-- Two suspected victims of
summary execution were found the other day along the Baguio-Naguillan Road in
Burgos town, La Union.
The victims' remains were found near the
public cemetery in Barangay Dalacdac, Burgos, about 20 minutes from Baguio.
The victims, who suffered
multiple stab wounds were identified as Paul Palangdan, 29 and Apollo Palangdan,
both from Bauko town in Mt. Province.
The latter had a tattoo on his arm “Apollo
Comando”. "Commando” is known as a jail or detention cell gang.
It was unknown whether the victims were
related to each other, but authorities said, the duo had just been released
from the national penitentiary in Muntinlupa.
La Union police through Senior Insp.
Valentino Abenojar of the Burgos police station said the duo were dumped
along a cliff in the village along the national highway and a tricycle
driver found him.
In September, villagers found two dead males
along a ravine in barangay Ribsuan, Naguillan, La Union. The two were
also from Baguio City.
Another male cadaver was found along a grassy
but dimly-lit location along the Baguio-Pugo road in Tuba, Benguet.
