2 dead, 3 hurt in La Union road accidents

SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – Two people died and three others were wounded in separate accidents in La Union Monday.

Police identified the killed victim as certain JinggyAlaba, 24, a resident of Barangay ParianOeste, Bauang, La Union.

The victim was reportedly driving his tricycle along the road in Barangay Central East, Bauang, La Union when he lost control of it and accidentally rammed into a concrete electric post.

The victim was seriously hurt in different parts of his body causing him to die.

Alaba’s passenger identified as Mike Balbuena is confined in the hospital after he suffered injuries during the accident.

Meanwhile, Florante Lopez was declared dead-on-arrival upon reaching the Saint Catherine Hospital after he was accidentally hit by a motorcycle along the road in Bangar town.

Investigations on the two vehicular accidents are ongoing.
