5 Bontoc cops face slay raps over stude’s death

BONTOC, Mountain Province — Murder charges have been filed against five policemen at the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office over the death of 20-year-old student Stephen Bosleng Galidan, of Bauko town. The five policemen tagged in the death of Galida were Senior Police Officers 4 Rolando Bagangan and Michael Napa-eg, SPO3 Lester Faba-an, SPO2 Gaspar Suagen, and PO3 Raul Fagsao.

Galidan was drunk when arrested by the five policemen. He died after supposedly falling off a moving vehicle on the way to the police station. Galidan’s family filed the case after receipt of the NBI’s autopsy report.
