Maritess Manibo Torres was apprehended when she sold more than 2 grams of shabu to a police poseur buyer in Zone 1, Barangay Maliwalo, here.

Torres is from Barangay Camantiles, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan, and was employed house maid by Ruben Flores barely 5 months ago at an apartment near PCP 3.

The confiscated shabu from Torres were packed in 2 sachets of almost one gram each.
“Two lessons learned from this incident: First, know them well and be very observant of your housemaids, and second, it pays to immediately report to police any hint of illegal activity in your neighborhood.  The arrest of Torres was accomplished out of the report of our unknown informant”, said Razalan. --  Nelson Bolos
