1 dead, 7 hurt in Paracelis mishap

PARACELIS, Mountain Province --  A construction worker died while seven others were injured when their dump truck loaded with sacks of cement and construction materials rolled over in this remote town on May 22.

Senior Supt. Cornelio Comila, Mountain Province police director, identified the fatality as Jerome Aquino.

Jefferson Legwa, Armando Mercado, Kolas Eia, Dadong Eria, Ekong Gabriel, Ruben Libres and a certain LakayTabayuyong of Diaz Construction were injured and brought to the Kalinga Hospital for treatment.

Initial investigation showed the driver lost control of the wheel as he was driving down the road in SitioPandan, Barangay Bacarri. – RaymundCatindig
