23 Nueva Ecija cop execs fired

CABANATUAN CITY– Twenty-three police officers in Nueva Ecija, nine of whom are superintendents, have been relieved from their posts.

Senior Supt. Manuel Cornel, Nueva Ecija police director, ordered their relief under Special Order 137 issued on May 30.

        Sixteen of those relieved were station commanders. Their names were not revealed but sources said this was in preparation for the new administration.– Manny Galvez
