ANGELES,
Pampanga - Police released the sketch of a Chinese man who allegedly owned a
shabu laboratory here, where at least 45 gallons of liquid shabu with an
estimated value of P1.1 billion were seized during a raid on Tuesday.
“We have identified the operator. We got
the name through the help of our counterpart at the Taiwanese police. We also
have the name of the person who contacted the owner of the house where the
chemicals were seized,” Senior Superintendent Leonardo Suan, chief of staff of
the Anti-Illegal Drug Group (AIDG) of the Philippine National Police, said on
Wednesday.
Shiji Jun, alias Michael, who rented the
house in Barangay Dolores, is between 5’5” to 5’6” tall, with black hair and
fair complexion according to the owner of the house, Orlando Pangilinan.
Suan
said the AIDG is coordinating with the Bureau of Immigration to prevent the
suspects from leaving the country.
He said the suspects could be using
other houses either as a shabu laboratory or warehouse for illegal drugs.
Authorities
said the shabu laboratory in Angeles is categorized as mega-industrial because
it can produce more than 50 kilograms of shabu per production cycle.
