JHMC recognized for quality management ISO standards

BAGIO CITY - A
certificate of recognition was awarded to the John Hay Management Corporation
(JHMC), a subsidiary of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA),
for successfully establishing its quality management system being ISO certified
to 9001-2008 standards last 04 March 2016.
The award was given by
the Government Quality Management Committee (GQMC) to government organizations
with ISO 9001:2008 quality management system certification pursuant to
Executive Order No. 605 series of 2007 and was received by Dr. Jamie
Eloise M. Agbayani, JHMC president and CEO and Bevienne M. Apaling, JHMC quality
management representative.
As of Oct. 30, there
are 585 government agencies with ISO 9001 certifications.
In line with the goal
of the GQMC that is to strengthen institutional capacities of public sector
organizations in delivering citizen-focused public services as well as in
implementing international standards-based quality management system, the JHMC
is committed to deliver its services to the highest level of professionalism,
honesty and integrity.
Dr. Agbayani said,
“Ensuring efficient, transparent, and accessible delivery of quality public
service are the key elements of the strategic governance framework of the
Corporation.” She further added that the JHMC is committed to abide by
its accredited Quality Management System that is responsive to the needs of the
stakeholders.”
For being ISO
Certified, the JHMC continues to live with its commitment for good governance
and public service.
