Strawberry Festival events on in La Trinidad, Benguet

TRINIDAD, Benguet – Mayor Romeo K. Salda with regional Tourism director Marie
Venus Tan launched the 36th Strawberry Festival here Wednesday at the
Strawberry Fields with exciting events set up to March.
Theme “Sustaining the fruits of La Trinidad’s
agro-eco tourism,” Salda said the event aims to promote La Trinidad as top
strawberry producer and promote agro- tourism.
On Feb. 20-March 31 is the Agro-Industrial
Fair at km 5 barangay booths.
Salda said this trade fair brings together
entrepreneurs with an interest in agro-sector at Strawberry Lane which, one
highlight of the festival at municipal park.
