Two men divest bizman of P10-K after speedy chase

RIZAL, Kalinga – Two still unidentified men divested a businessman of his hard-earned P10,000 here after a  high speed chase around 2 p.m. on July 14. 

Victim Roland Gallebo Cauilan, 33, married, of Macabibi, Solana, Cagayan reported to Rizal cops he was held up at Liwan West here by the two men.

Investigation disclosed the victim on board his Motor Star motorcycle was traversing the Kalinga-Cagayan national road headed toward his home in Solana from Paracelis, Mt Province after selling African hito fish. When he reached Barangay Nambaran, Tabuk at the road intersection going to Isabela and Cagayan, the two men signaled him to stop but he ignored them fearing a hold-up.

 The two suspects chased him on board a yellow motorcycle with no plate number until they stopped him at Spring, Liwan West, Rizal at the descending sharp curve to the spring rest area going towards Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

One of the suspects pointed a pistol at him and declared the heist.

The suspects carted away his P10,000 and fled towards Nambaran.
