SLU tops pharmacist rad tech board exams

BAGUIO CITY -- Saint
Louis University emerged the top performing school in the recent
pharmacist and radiologic technologist licensure examinations given by the
Professional Regulation Commission.
The PRC announced that
of the 2,927 passers out of 4,230 examinees in the Pharmacist Licensure
Examination given by the Board of Pharmacy in the cities of Manila, Baguio,
Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Zamboanga this August
, SLU produced 151 new pharmacists for
a 98.69 passing rate.
University of San Carlos
with 59 out of 61 passers with a rating of 96.72 was second top school,
followed by San Pedro College-Davao City and the University of Santo Tomas.
The exam was topped by
Louise Tan Theunis from the Cebu Doctors’ University with a
rating of 91.55%.
SLU is also the top
performing school in the Radiologic Technologist Licensure
Examination last July with 77 out of its 81 examinees making it for
a passing rate of 95.06.
SLU graduates Ken Paul
Cailing Alvarez and Ma Gianella Taguimacom Baldonado placed 10th place with an
88.40 rating.
The board exam was
topped by Jomar Cabral De Guzman from the Good Samaritan Colleges in Cabanatuan
City with a 91.00 rating.
The PRC said that 2,056
out of 4,356 passed the Radiologic Technologist Licensure Examination given by
the Board of Radiologic Technology in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu,
Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi and Tuguegarao The PRC announced that registration for
the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of
Registration will be done on-line from August 9 to August 17, 2018 for the
Radiologic Technologist board passers while from August 13 to August 20, 2018
for Pharmacist Licensure board passers.
The new board passers
are requested to visit www.prc.gov.ph and follow
instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to
bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng
Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport
sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of
documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope. Successful examinees
should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for
the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees will be announced
