Two thieves take P250-K jewelry in Tiong San heist

TRINIDAD, Benguet – Police are still hunting two thieves who broke into the
Tiong San mall here in the dead of night and stole P250,000 worth of jewelry
have
Police
investigators said the heist happened at the 2nd floor jewelry watch
section night of March 20 on complaint of mall owner Jeremy Wilson Lao
Golangco, 41, against the two suspects who were seen based on CCTV footage of
the establishment.
According to employees
of the mall, they closed the establishment at around 8 p.m. of March 20.
At around 7:30 a.m. of
March 21, security guards discovered the hinge of the padlock of the accordion
door at the second floor of the building was destroyed.
When they conducted
inventory, assorted jewelry and wrist watches worth more around P250, 000 were
missing.
Investigation revealed
suspects climbed a building at an adjacent building owned by a certain woman
named Mandy Sagubo.
The suspects entered
through the open window of the comfort room at the second floor of the building
and exited the same after taking said items.
Police
lifted one shoe print at the comfort room.
