PNP entrance, promotional exams set in Apayao Oct 27

LUNA, Apayao – The most peaceful province in the Cordillera is set to host for the first time the Philippine National Police Entrance  and Promotional Examinations.

 National Police Commission Apayao Director Nathaniel Cayaba said that the NAPOLCOM – Cordillera Regional Office and the provincial government of Apayao have signed a memorandum of agreement for the conduct of the PNP entrance exam for civilians desiring to enter the police service and Promotional Examination for uniformed personnel of the PNP.

The NAPOLCOM examinations are set Oct. 27 at the Apayao State College – Luna Campus.

Applicants from Apayao and nearby provinces are invited to grab this opportunity.  Applicants should apply personally and bring their requirements at the San Isidro Barangay Hall in Luna, Apayao from September 16 to 20, 2019 only. There will be no on-line registration for these examinations.

An applicant for the PNP entrance exam must be a Filipino citizen, not less than 21 years old but not more than 30 years old and must have a Bachelor’s Degree. Height requirement is not already required by the NAPOLCOM.

Applicants should prepare two identical 1x1 ID pictures with white background and complete name tag, transcript of scholastic record and diploma, certified true copy of a birth certificate issued and authenticated by the Philippine Statistics Authority, a valid ID and the examination fee of P400.00.

 Those who pass the entrance exam will be eligible for the appointment to rank of Patrolman or Patrolwoman as prescribed under Section 30 of Republic Act 6975, as amended by RA 8551.

 Meanwhile, applicants for the promotional examination should prepare a certified true cop of the latest attested appointed, report of rating or certificate of eligibility, two recent identical 1x1 ID pictures with white background and complete name tag; PNP or any valid ID; and examination fee.

For Police Officer  4th  Class (Police Corporal to P/Staff Sergeant), exam fee is  P400.00; P450.00 for the Police Officer 3rd Class (P/Master Sergeant to P/Executive Sergeant);  P500.00 for the Police Officer  2nd Class(P/Lieutenant to P/Captain)  and P600.00 for  Police Officer 1st Class( P/Major to P/Lieutenant.)

Applicants for both promotional and entrance exams should place their requirements in one legal size window envelope with P20.00 worth of mailing stamps.
