1 dies, 1 hurt in Ilocos road crash

CANDON CITY, Ilocos Sur – A motorcycle driver died and his passenger was seriously injured when their motorcycle crashed along a bypass road in Barangay Tablac here on Monday night.

Police said Rayman Molina, 20, a resident of Barangay San Isidro, Candon, was pronounced dead at the hospital from serious body injuries.

The passenger, Marwin dela Cruz, 20, a resident of Barangay Banucal, Lidlidda town, was admitted to a hospital.

Police said Molina lost control and crashed along the road.

Police added that there were signs that the two motorcycle riders were under the influence of liquor when the accident occurred.
