Enchanting Baguio City winners, awarded

BAGUIO CITY – Mayor Benjie Magalong and Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan led city officials in awarding winners of the “Enchanting Baguio” tourism AVP teaser making, digital poster making and #MyBaguioStory selfie contests recently at City Hall.

Out of 23 entries, the submission of the team from University of Baguio was declared champion in the AVP teaser making contest and awarded P5,000 cash prize and a certificate of recognition for their feat.  Coming in 2nd and third places are two separate teams from Saint Louis University  who were awarded P3,000 and P2,000 in cash prizes including certificates of recognition, respectively.

Champion in the digital poster making contest out of 63 entries, is the work of Mark Gideon Labre winning P5,000 and a certificate of recognition.  In 2nd place is the duo of Anjela Maika Ancheta and Dan Janniel Antolin while Klarisse Mae Medina is third. 

They were awarded P3,000 and P2,000 for their pieces including certificates of recognition, respectively. 

The selfie of Janine Sophia Revita emerged champion among 237 entries in the #MyBaguioStory selfie contest garnering P5,000 and a certificate of recognition.  In 2nd and 3rd places are the selfies of Dave Alexander Chimicag and John Mark Baguindoc receiving P3,000 and P2,000 in cash prizes  and certificates of recognition.

With the theme, “Enchanting Baguio…Where every visit is a new story”, the contests are  in line with the Summer Capital’s celebration of its 110th Charter Anniversary and National Tourism Week 2019 and conducted by the city government thru its  tourism and special events office.
