DIADI, Nueva Vizcaya --
Almost 500 Diadi residents availed of free medical and dental services
initiated by its local government in partnership with renewable energy
solutions provider SN Aboitiz Power-Magat (SNAP-Magat) last February 12, 2020.
Now on its 12th
year, SNAP-Magat and the Municipality of Diadi, headed by Mayor Sandy Gayaton,
partnered to provide free general health consultation, dental, pre-natal, and
pediatric check-ups, as well as distributed free medicines to indigent
residents. The medical mission is one of the highlights of the municipality’s
celebration of their annual Ragragsakan Festival. The festival, Ragragsakan,
borrows the Ilocano term for 'merriment' and commemorates the town's founding
anniversary.
Gayaton
expressed his gratitude and emphasized that this annual medical and dental
mission is part of SNAP’s legacy in Diadi. “Through the continued support of
SNAP, together, we are able to develop residents’ awareness on the importance
of proper health care.”
