13 drug pushers nabbed in La Trinidad, Baguio

TRINIDAD, Benguet -- Thirteen drug suspects including two “high value
targets” were arrested by police in this capital town and nearby Baguio City in
buy-bust operations recently.
Brig. Gen. R’win SA Pakalinawan said HVTs Jariel G.
Dayawen, 26 was apprehended here in Barangay Pico on May 21 and while Jeffrey
P. Damian, 35, was nabbed in Lower Kitma, Bakakeng Central, Baguio City on the
same day.
Confiscated from them were five sachets of suspected shabu,
P8,000 cash and a cell phone.
Four
alleged drug pushers were also apprehended on May 25.
In Baguio City were Aldrin Inutan Racho, Michael Manalo
Galano and Oliver Buenavista Signey were arrested in Purok Mangga, Loakan
Proper while Steve Laurent Noble Serafin was apprehended on Ongasan Road,
Loakan Proper.
Confiscated
from them were eight sachets of suspected shabu, buy-bust money and a cell
phone.
Also
nabbed were Jefferson P. Garcia, 24; and Julius L. Estrada, 23along km 6,
Betag, La Trinidad on May 21, while Jefferson Sta Ana Lim, Jerry Sta Ana Lim,
Jan Mikhail Yumang Dela Cruz and Charles Hizon Valente were arrested on
Ferguson Road, Guisad Central, Baguio City on May 20.
Confiscated from them were eight sachets containing
suspected shabu, marijuana leaves,
P7,000 cash four cell phones and cellphone and assorted drug paraphernalia
Meanwhile, Hyner Cornel Leung, 33, an OFW and a resident of
Apugan, Irisan, Baguio City was arrested after he was caught in possession of
assorted drug paraphernalia along Pacdal Circle, Baguio also on May 20.
Investigation
revealed Leung was on board a taxi which tried to pass by a PNP checkpoint when
he was accosted and failed to show documents.
He was caught in possession of two tooters, test tube, four
tooters and one weighing scale.
All
accused are now under police custody after charges for violation of
Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against them in court.
