CITY OF TABUK -- Police
uprooted 2,500 fully grown marijuana plants worth around P1 million here
at Sitio Ileb, Nambaran in two separate operations on June 6.
The marijuana
plants valued at P500,000 under the Dangerous Drug Board (DDB) were
burned and destroyed at site by personnel of the 1st Kalinga Provincial
Mobile Force Co. led by Lt. Col. Joseph Eujie Almaquer.
A police report shows said operatives of 1st KPMFC while on patrol chanced upon a marijuana plantation with about 1,000 fully grown marijuana plants valued at P200,000.

On the same
day, the team discovered another plantation with about
1,500 fully grown marijuana plants valued at P300,000.
Kalinga
police headed by Col. Davy Vicente Limmong commended personnel of 1st KPMFC for
the eradication operation. “This operation shows how police are relentless in
their anti-illegal drugs operation. This serves as a warning to the cultivators
