20 druggies nabbed in Cordillera raids

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – The top ten drug personalities and 10 other drug suspects were arrested in Cordillera last week, said Brig. Gen. R’win Pagkalinawan, regional police director.

In Baguio City, arrested were Dinky Joy Bumal-o Tabora, 37, of Quezon Hill and Michael Beniasan Uyaan, 31, of Purok 19, San Carlos Heights.

Both were captured along Daraoan, Pucay Road, Central Guisad August 11.

Confiscated from them were 10 sachets of suspected shabu, and a Chevrolet Spin vehicle with plate no. AAM 8722.

Jandel Galiste Lapuz, 28, of Purok 2, Military Cut-off, was also apprehended at Convention Center, Military Cut-off.

A sachet of suspected shabu, P9,500 cash and Samsuing cellphone were confiscated from from him.

In La Trinidad, Benguet, Elmerante Alfonso Barlis, 51, driverof  Puguis, was arrested at his residence earlier on August 10.

Confiscated from his were two sachets containing suspected shabu, Huawei cell phone, buy-bust money and drug paraphernalia.

Reynaldo Sacla Aquino "Nico," 24 of Toyong, Pico,was nabbed August 7.  Seized from him were two sachets containing suspected shabu, P1,000 cash and cell phone.

In Tabuk City, Kalinga, nabbed was Jomel Baydon Wacnang, 31 of Lacnog.

He was apprehended along the Liwan West, Rizal August 11. Confiscated from him were two sachets of suspected shabu; ₱1,000 buy bust money and Oppo cell phone.

Still in Tabuk, four students, two of them minors were caught in a pot and drinking session in Ubbog, Magsaysay on August 7. 

The two minors aged 17 are residents of Tabuk City, 

Jeremiah Pasnadan Turaray, 18, of Ubbog, Magsaysay and Bryan Aligayen Manuel, 19, of Dagupan West were turned over by their Barangay chairman to the Tabuk City police office.  

Marijuana was confiscated from Turaray.

In Bangued, Abra, Christian Kenneth Blaza Bobias, 23, of Sitio Baddec, Barangay Palao was nabbed at Old Food Court, Magallanes St., Zone 5.

Seized from Bobias were two sachets of suspected shabu, P2,450 cash, Vivo S1  cell phone and motorcycle.
