Cagayan PNP, SF give study materials

BAGGAO, Cagayan -- The Cagayan Police Provincial Office, in partnership with the Humanitarian Order of Sierra Falconés (SF), conducted simultaneous launches of the Biyaya para sa Barangay 4 project on July 23, which targets to provide educational materials for learners in remote areas.

Cagayan Provincial Director Col. Ariel Narag Quilang said the project, now on its fourth phase, would especially provide for those students now affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

The SF provided books for grade schoolers worth P800,000 with the C&E Publishing and Foundation as another project sponsor.

Quilang said the villages chosen would have small libraries for learners of their communities.

He disclosed that the Cagayan police’s next project would sponsor one scholar for every municipality until they finish their studies. During the project launches, food packs were also distributed to the learners.
