Are your feet itching to go on a summer escapade amid pandemic brought by Covid-19?
It only takes only one test and you’ll finally visit the top beach destination found in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte.
Even before the “Travel + Leisure”, a New York (NY) magazine, hailed Saud Beach in Pagudpud as one of the World’s Most Beautiful Beaches, this has been a fascination among tourists and residents because of its pristine waters, refreshing breeze, and white sand.
According to the NY magazine, “If you’re searching for Southeast Asian beach bliss, super-mellow Saud Beach on the island of Luzon is a sure thing.”
Because of its natural charm, the Saud Beach is also declared the “Boracay of the North” with its similarities to this top beach destination in the Philippines located in the Province of Aklan.
People who flock to Saud Beach can relish and absorb its beauty with friends in a picnic setting or enjoy adrenaline-rushing activities such as beach volleyball and surfing.
Even the cool winds by the sea revitalizes not just your soul, but even eliminates stress and worries brought by this pandemic while adoring the clear-blue waters and feet soaked on white sands.
“ It’s a beautiful beach. I will definitely come back. It’s a beautiful place for surfing and even all around in Ilocos Norte, there are so much things to do. There are so many choices and really nice people and so many things to experience here,” Lexie Naval, a tourist in Saud Beach, said.
Although Covid-19 still bringing threat globally, Gov. Matthew Marcos Manotoc believes going outdoors can still be done with minimum public health standards still in place.
“I’ve always said that Saud Beach is a hidden gem. Malakas ang signal dito so this is also a perfect destination for workstation and staycation or even just to spend the day,” he said.
Going out for work? Going out for leisure? Or going out for relaxation? Definitely, Saud Beach is the best place to be. -- PIA Ilocos Norte
