Baguio telecom crew held for shabu
BAGUIO CITY – A telecommunications crew was arrested in a
buy-bust operation here at Military Cut Off recently.
Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. O. Lee identified the suspect as Mark Laurel Dizon Manipon a.k.a 'Marco', 34, of Sta. Scholastica Village.
Marco was reportedly listed in the regional police list as Top 10 drug personality.
Manipon was nabbed after he sold to a cop a gram of suspected ‘’shabu’’ worth P6,800.
Seized from him were buy-bust money, cell phone among other items. Inventory of confiscated items was witnessed by prosecutor Sigrid Canawil, kagawad Alex Villanueva of Military Cut Off and media representative Charles Nikko Limon.
The drug was turned over to Crime Laboratory for while charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs of 2002 was prepared against him.

Man kills uncle in Tuba, Benguet
TUBA, Benguet -- A 49-year-old farmer was hacked to death by his nephew at Sitio Dang-ay, Barangay Taloy Norte here Monday afternoon.The victim was identified as Bonifacio Milo Pacio, 49 and a resident of Sitio Dang-ay Taloy Norte. The suspect was identified as Henry Milo or "Tino," a resident of Sitio Bakayao, Taloy Norte.
Based on a police report, Pacio was watching a television show in front of a store with his friends when the suspect arrived and suddenly hacked his uncle three times until he fell on the ground.
The suspect then fled on foot towards Pugo, La Union.
The victim sustained deep wounds on the upper part of his body and right side of his neck.
Tuba police are now conducting manhunt to capture the suspect.
Cops apprehend 45 wanted persons in Cordi for crimes
CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – Police nabbed another 45 wanted persons with warrants of arrest from Sept. 5 to 11.Based on records of the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division for the week, Baguio CPO has the greatest number of arrests with 32, followed by Ifugao with seven, Benguet,3; Kalinga, 2 and Abra with 1.
Seven most wanted persons (MWP) of which one was listed in the provincial level, one, municipal; one, city and 4 in station level.
Suspect Glenn Matrimono Dioso listed as top 5 MWP in provincial level was arrested for murder.
Rogin Corbillon Caalaman listed as no. 1 MWP in municipal level was nabbed for violation of Republic 9262 (Anti-violence against women and their children Act of 2004).
Roviolito Viloria Ferrer was nabbed for robbery with violence.
Eddie Manuel Majora was arrested for estafa and large scale illegal recruitment .Benson Floyd Pa-E Abalos was arrested for Violation of RA 7610 (Special protection of children against abuse, exploitation and discrimination Act).
Larry Tabcao Mundo was arrested for rape while Walter Tumalip Dula aka “Intsik” was nabbed for frustrated murder.
Meanwhile, a porter was arrested in a in a buy-bust operation in Kayang Hilltop Barangay, Baguio City on Sept. 13.
The suspect was identified as Leandrin Obarra Bedia, 27, of Asin Road, Baguio City .
Bedia was arrested by anti-illegal drug operatives of Naguilian Road Police Station and Abanao Police Station of Baguio CPO, after he sold suspected shabu weighing 0.3 grams worth P 2,040 to a cop.
Inventory of confiscated items was witnessed by punong barangay Rene Biagtan of Kayang Hilltop, prosecutor Don Immanuel VC Vergara and Janice Denise of Bombo Radyo Baguio.
