CITY — A young lady cadet from South Cotabato topped the Philippine Military
Academy’s BAGSIK-DIWA (Bagong Sibol sa Kinabukasan Mandirigma Hanggang Wakas)
Class of 2022 following awarding rites at the Longayban Hall of the PMA at Fort
Bonifacio here.
Cadet 1CL Krystlenn Ivany Quemado will receive the Presidential Saber, Philippine Navy Saber, and Jusmag Saber. Quemado will also haul the Australian Defense Best Overall Performance Award, Spanish Armed Forces Award, Agfo Award, Academic Group Award, Humanities Plaque, Management Plaque, Social Sciences Plaque and Navy Professional Courses Plaque.
Ranked second in the list is Cadet 1CL Kevin John Pastrana from the home of the PMA which is Baguio City. He will be awarded the Vice-Presidential Saber, and Philippine Air Force Saber.
He will also get an Australian Defense Best Overall Performance, Information Technology Plaque and Air Force Professional Courses Plaque.
Ranked third is Cadet 1CL Ian Joseph Bragancia from Iloilo who will receive the Secretary of National Defense Saber, Philippine Army Saber and Chief Justice Saber. He will get the Australian Defense Best Overall Performance Award, Distinguished Cadet Award, General Antonio Luna Award, Mathematics Plaque, Natural Science Plaque and National Security Studies Plaque, Army Professional Courses Plaque.
The rest of the rankings: Cadet 1CL Faith Turiano from Camarines Sur, 4th; Cadet 1CL Yyoni Xandria Marie Tiu from Davao City, 5th; Cadet 1CL Jake Anthony Mosquera from North Cotabato, 6th; Cadet 1CL Jesie Mar Frias from Antipolo City, Rizal, 7th; Cadet 1CL Elvin John Oyo-a from Butuan City, 8th; and Cadet 1CL Nerfa Minong from Zamboanga City, 9th; Cadet 1CL Criselle Jane Rico who is also from Zamboanga City, 10th.
