“It still feels surreal that I will sit as the very first female Mayor of Bayambang. It feels like it was just yesterday when I was invited here as a guest. Now, Bayambang is my home and the BayambangueƱos are my family,” posted Mayor Nina Jose-Quiambao on her Facebook account.
Mayor Nina was a former housemate in the ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition.”
“I can’t wait to be Mayor of this town and to serve my fellow BayambangueƱos,” she added.
The 33-year-old sexy star received 41,685 votes in the race, while the second placer, Ricardo Camacho, only got 27,373 during May 9, 2022 election.
Quiambao as the mother of the town would like to end the cycle of poverty by addressing it from the roots.
