Female drug pusher, 5 more nabbed in NE

CABANATUAN CITY -- Five wanted persons and a
female drug trader were arrested in this province on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022.
Col. Richard Caballero, officer-in-charge of the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office, said that different police stations conducted separate Manhunt Charlie Operations in their areas that resulted in the arrest of five wanted persons.
The wanted personalities were arrested by virtue of Warrants of arrest for reckless imprudence resulting in serious physical injuries, violation of Republic Act 9262 and R.A. 9165 including estafa.
Meanwhile, the Cabanatuan City Police conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Josef Sur, Cabanatuan City that resulted in the arrest of a 24-year-old female drug trader whose name was not revealed.
Seized from her possession were the P500 buy-bust money and 0.6 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P4,080.
The suspect will be charged for Violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165.
“This will be the perfect time to catch these wanted persons as the majority of them are in their respective houses with their families,” said Col. Caballero.
The operation was in line with the directives of Police Brigadier General Cesar Pasiwen, Regional director of Police Regional Office 3, to ensure a peaceful and prosperous Ligtas Paskuhan 2022.
“We will intensify manhunt operations and take advantage of this season,” stressed Caballero.
