QUEZON, Nueva Vizcaya -- A total of 486 children in the upland towns of Santa Fe and Kayapa in this province have received Christmas gifts from mining firm FCF Minerals Corp. currently operating in the province.
FCF Minerals in partnership with the office of the Provincial Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative headed by Samuel Balinhawang conducted three gift-giving activities in the upland villages in the municipalities of Santa Fe and Kayapa and Bayombong.
"Our company believes that the best way to see Christmas is through the eyes of the child, thus our gift-giving covered at least close to 500 children in upland villages in the province," said FCF General Manager for Operations Lorne Harvey.
The company's gift-giving beneficiaries were an elementary school in Sitio Bucaog in Barangay Buyasyas in Santa Fe town, and another elementary school in Sitio Talnag, Barangay Buyasyas in Kayapa town, and Barangay Cabuaan in Bayombong town.
