Worker buried alive in Mountain Province

BAUKO, Mountain Province -- A construction worker was buried alive by landslide here morning of March 1 at the compound of Luis Hora Memorial Hospital, Barangay Abatan.
    The fatality was identified as Rodante Nabor Laluan, native of Pozorrubio, Pangasinan.
    He was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician at the hospital.
    The two other victims who were also buried with soil but were rescued were identified as Mark Steve Nabor and     Rocky Bernes, both adults and also natives of Pozorrubio.
    The two are now in stable condition.
    According to reports, the victims were installing steel footing when the soil suddenly eroded and hit the three.
    Personnel of the Bauko Bureau Fire Protection and town police rushed immediately to the scene to rescue the three construction workers.
    Nabor died of asphyxia.
