Singsons to send chemist to Hong Kong

VIGAN CITY – A brother of Ilocos Sur Rep. Ronald Singson has come to the rescue of the congressman who is facing an illegal drug charge in Hong Kong.

Vigan Vice Mayor Ryan Singson told Bombo Radyo Vigan that his family would send a chemist to Hong Kong to ascertain the exact weight of the cocaine supposedly seized from his brother.

The vice mayor said they are hoping the case against his elder brother would be reduced to the lesser charge of illegal possession of drugs instead of drug trafficking, which is meted a heavier penalty.

The vice mayor said his brother is in good condition and does physical exercises while in detention.
