Ifugao starts construction of modern provincial hospital

LAGAWE, Ifugao--The provincial local government unit has started construction of a state- of- the- art hospital here.

Jonathan Pahigon of the Provincial Engineering Office, who is in charge of provincial civil works for health here, said that the project has been bided out last May and the notice to proceed the construction has been issued to the winning contractor.

Pahigon said the project is a three storey building with a length of 113 meters occupying a two hectare area located above the Ifugao Provincial Police Office here. Targeted to be completed on June 29, 2012, the Ifugao General Hospital, will house all the services of a tertiary hospital.

The rough estimate needed to complete said hospital is P328 million.

According to Pahigon, the third floor consists of private, semi private administrative office while the second floor accommodates the hospital/clinical services and the first floor is the operating, delivery complex, emergency rooms and others.
