Ifugao PDRRMC proposes P89 M worth of projects

LAGAWE,
Ifugao --The Provincial Risk Reduction and Management Council here proposed a
total of P89,109,494 worth of projects for the different municipal and barangay
disaster councils of the province for validation and approval by the
Sangguniang Panlalawigan and the provincial governor.

Warning and Operations officer Ambrosio Dulnuan said that the various projects
covering all the municipalities and barangays of Ifugao if approved and
implemented, can help very much in the
mitigation and prevention of economic damages and loss of lives of the people caused by disasters, calamities and other
emergencies.
Record from
the PDRRMC disclosed that the projects to be validated, approved and
implemented involve mostly the construction and improvement of municipal and
barangay farm-to-market roads, communal irrigation systems, river controls,
suspension bridges and foot bridges, among others.
Under the
proposal, the municipality of Lagawe will have the highest share of the
projects worth P19,302,539.00 followed by Hungduan with P15,756,631.00 and
Banaue with P15,198,993.00.
The other
municipalities of Lamut has P9,144,476.00, Hingyon with P6,855,000.00, Kiangan
with P6,014,747.00, Aguinaldo with P4,335,435.00, Tinoc with P3,976,582.00,
Mayoyao withP3,622,758.00, Asipulo with P3,252,399.00 and Alfonso Lista with
P1,550,000.00.
