7,567 take nurses exam in north Luzon

A total of 7,567 took the Nurses Licensure Examination in four testing areas in northern Luzon supervised by the Professional Regulation Commission Baguio Regional Office in Baguio, Dagupan, Cabanatuan and Laoag on Dec. 16 and 17.

Teofilo Gaius M. Sison Jr., regional PRC director bared this saying  3,568 examinees took the NLE in Baguio, 1,744 in Dagupan, 1,405 in Cabanatuan, and 850 in Laoag. 

Sison said conduct of NLE was supported by Cabanatuan City government through Mayor Julius Cesar V. Vergara and Laoag City through Mayor Michael V. Fariñas.

The Philippine Nurses Association Regional Councils and Provincial Chapters, Philippine National Police, National Bureau of Investigation, Department of Education, University of Luzon and other colleges and universities in the Cordillera Administrative Region, Regions I and III also extended support, he said. 

The PRC Central Office and area delegations also were commended for efficient and honest conduct of the examination in testing areas.
