Van goes down Benguet ravine; 1dead,2 injured

TUBA, Benguet – A man only identified as “Erwin” was killed while 33-year old Raffy Baron and 35- year old Joel Bellesteros were seriously hurt when the delivery van they were riding in plunged down a 50-meter ravine along Kennon Road here around 3 a.m. Tuesday.

Tuba police said an Isuzu delivery van fell off the ravine killing "Erwin", while Baron and Ballesteros were brought to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center.

Baron, the driver of the van, police said, was allegedly drunk.

The van en route to Baguio was carrying frozen food from Angeles City in Pampanga, the police said.
