Three‘salvaged’ victims dumped in Tuba, Benguet

TUBA,
Benguet -- Two unidentified persons believed to be victims of summary executions were dumped Oct. 13 into a
deep ravine in Baguio-bound road here in Sitio Sipitan, Barangay Tadiangan.
A police report said the discovery of
the bodies of the two victims was incidental after Roberto Santiago of
LasongTadiangan and his group saw the cadavers, then reported it to the
personnel of Itogon town police.
The two
cadavers were lying in an approximately 46 meters depth ravine along the Baguio
City bound lane road in Sitio Sipitan, said the report.
Responding Tuba
police retrieved the cadavers described as “highlander looking, 20-30 years
old, 5’6” in height, medium built, short hair military cut, long finger nails
on both hands, wearing black polo with markings “NOE 715” and blue maong short
pant; and the second victim as 30-40 years old, 5’5” in height, short,
curly hair, medium built, and wearing green round neck shirt with “ARMY”
markings on the left chest and blue jogging pants with yellow green stripes
both cadavers were barefooted”
Police found yellow plastic cellophane looped around the neck of the
first body believed used to strangle the victim, while the second cadaver had
gray cloth belt looped around his neck.
It was reportedly the same weapon used to strangle victim.
Both cadavers had bruises on both wrists.
The cadavers were brought to La Paz Funeral Homes, Baguio City for
autopsy.
Personnel of Tuba PNP are now conducting follow-up investigation to
identify killers.
