No rice
shortage
BAGUIO CITY — The National Food Authority here
said there is no shortage of NFA rice
including commercial rice in this city and Benguet province.
Cecilia Concubierta,
NFA provincial manager for Baguio-Benguet said they continue to conduct
surprise inspections in the market and did not find any grains distributor or
trader who is taking advantage by increasing their prices, this is despite
reports from other provinces where traders adulterate rice supply by adding
feeds or low quality rice to the NFA rice.
