Cagayan wanted man nabbed in IS hospital

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – Police have arrested the most wanted man in Cagayan in a hospital in Bantay, Ilocos Sur.

Ferdinand Molina, who faced arrest warrants for robbery and kidnapping charges, has been confined at the Northside Doctor’s Hospital since June 2, according to Ilocos Sur police spokesman Chief Inspector Greg Guerrero.

Molina was being treated for a gunshot wound he sustained in a shootout with police officers on June 1.

The suspect reportedly tried to rob the house of a municipal councilor in Abulug, Cagayan.

An aide of the councilor was killed while three others were wounded during the robbery.

Police have launched a manhunt for Molina’s two companions. – RaymundCatindig
