Suspect slain in shootout with cops in Pangasinan

SAN FABIAN, Pangasinan — A suspect was killed in an alleged shootout with police officers serving a search warrant for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition in Barangay Longos Amangonan Parac-parac in this town Wednesday. 

Christian Bandarlipe, 28, alias Biloy, reportedly fired at law enforcers at 3:40 a.m. 

Bandarlipe was taken to the Region 1 Medical Center, where he was declared dead on arrival.
