No suspect/s yet on killing of 3 Besao men at Tubo, Abra

TUBO,
ABRA - Amidst talk that a suspect has surrendered on the killing of three men from Agawa, Besao found dead in three separate sites along the
Nakanga River here last week of May, the official fact is in the
negative.
Police Lieutenant Elarde Agustin, Chief of Police of Tubo,
Abra Municipal Police Station said there are no suspect/s who surrendered and
investigation is still on- going on said crime.
Nakanga river is a common fishing site of “dalit”
(eel) among folks from adjacent Tubo, Abra, Agawa Besao and from other
nearby areas.
Missing
for almost a week, the three men found dead are Jansen "Ayban"
Gabaen, Ronnie Macayba and Pedro Sauyen all residents of Agawa, found by
folks from Tubo on May 27. Two were found dead by having been shot and one by
hacking. The bodies were brought home to Agawa by folks from Besao on May 29.
Also found in the vicinity of the crime is a sack of 'dalit'.

Earlier,
Besao Chief of Police Lazaro Fangayen said there is still no information as to
the identity of the assailant/s.
Fangayen
said that a hunter from Tubo informed the Municipal Police Station of Tubo,
Abra which likewise informed Besao MPS of the three dead men found at sitio
Nakanga of barangay Baklingayan of the municipality of Tubo, Abra.
What
is popularly called Baklingayan is registered as barangay Tabakda,of Tthe municipality of Tubo Abra.
Besao folks refer to Nakanga as Subokan.
Fangayen
said that as per Google map, said site (Nakanga Creek) is close to the vicinity of barangay
Tubo. Folks from Tabakda/Baklingayan, Tubo Abra
reach site where bodies were found with some seven hours walk. Folks from
Gueday, Besao reach site where bodies were found with some ten hours walk.
Earlier,
Agawa barangay chairman Salvador Luis informed a meeting among
barangay officials represented by barangay chairmen of adjacent barangays Agawa,
Gueday, Ambagiw and Lacmaan, Besao; Municipal Police of Besao, bureau of fire
protection (BFP), Municipal disaster risk reduction and management
council (MDRRMC) that three men of Agawa left for the "pagpag"
(forest) to weave "ugat" (woven basket for fish)
reportedly “ordered by the fisheries”, claimed a Facebook
post by Joy Dicdican,,municipal health officer of the local government unit of
Besao.
