>> Monday, June 24, 2019
The Tarlac State
University (TSU) allowed transgender students upon last-minute decision to wear
dresses in their graduation rites Tuesday.
In a
memorandum order released by the school management, female students were
required to wear ankle length dress, while the male students should wear barong
and black pants.
The school
management did not designate a dress code for the transgender students.
Despite being
barred from cross-dressing, the transwomen graduates march with the rest of
their class wearing dresses.
