BANGUED,
Abra -- The Provincial Government of Abra allowed stranded Abrenians
outside the province to come home since the province is now under General
Community Quarantine.
Those who wish to go home to their respective municipalities
may do so from May 7 – 10, 2020. The different municipal local
government units (LGUs) are communicating with their respective stranded
constituents.
Gov. Joy Bernos reiterated that prior to entering the
province, they must secure medical certificate from the rural health unit where
they have stayed, and a certificate of 14-day quarantine completion.
The Provincial Task Force will strictly monitor and record
the entry of people in the province. At the entry point of the province in
Tangadan, San Quintin, the LGUs will provide free service vehicles to bring
their residents to their respective areas.
Bernos clarified that they will be automatically housed at
the isolation units in their municipalities for another 14 day quarantine
before finally allowed to go home to their families.
The PGA has closed its entry points for inbound vehicles
and individuals during the imposition of Enhanced Community Quarantine for more
than a month as a precautionary measure against the spread
of COVID-19. -- PIA
