7 nabbed, 1 surrenders for drugs in Cordilera

LA TRINIDAD,
Benguet – Seven alleged drug pushers were arrested while one surrendered
in in the Cordillera recently, the regional police command here at Camp Dangwa
said.
Suspect Reden Gunaban
Guaves, 38, farmer was apprehended in Dagupan Centro, Tabuk City, Kalinga on July 15.
Confiscated
and seized from his possession were two sachets containing shabu, P1,000 cash
and Samsung cellphone.
In another
operation, John Mark Estoque De Guzman, 31 and Johnson Galad Mendoza,
24 were arrested in Betag, La Trinidad, Benguet on the same date after they
were reported having an illegal drug activity inside their rented house.
Confiscated
from them were two sachets containing suspected shabu, and drug paraphernalia.
Four more
drug suspects were also nabbed July 14. Federico Bayuga Olivers was arrested in
Purok 14, San Carlos Heights, Irisan, Baguio with 50 grams of shabu, 7 ml
liquid meth, drug paraphernalia, Cal. 25 pistol and 29 bullets for the gun in
his possession.
Marlon Flores
Pescacio Jr. and King Gacusan Agatep were also caught at No. 73 Upper
Malvar, Trancoville, Bagiuo City while, Edwin Lucia Razon was
apprehended at Starwood Hotel, Kisad Road, also in Baguio.
Confiscated
from Pescacio were four sachets of shabu and P5, 500 cash while, two sachets of
shabu and P3,000 cash was taken from Agatep.
Seized from Razon was a sachet of shabu, P5, 000 cash,
drug paraphernalia and cell phone.
In Tabuk
City, Paul Obal Massagan, 44 of Brookside, Purok 6, Bulanao, voluntarily
surrendered at Dagupan Centro on July 13.
He also gave
to authorities as Cal. 45 handgun, M1 Garand rifle, Cal. 30 Springfield rifle and
16 bullets.
