DOLE: Kalinga cash grants for workers on

CITY OF TABUK, Kalinga --The Department of
Labor and Employment (DOLE) opened online application for the second round of Covid-19
adjustment measure program (CAMP-2) under the Bayanihan to recover as one act
(Bayanihan-2).
DOLE Kalinga Head Avelina Manganip said priority applicants under CAMP-2 are “unserved” workers under the first round of the program earlier this year.
Beneficiaries of the program who will receive P5, 000 cash aid are workers of small private establishments whose operation were affected by the Covid-19 lockdown.
Based on the CAMP guideline, qualified applicant must not be a recipient of other government financial aid.
To hasten the release of claims, beneficiaries directly receive the aid through accredited partner remittance companies.
Under CAMP 1, DOLE had released at least P13, 070,000 cash grant to more than 2,640 formal workers in Kalinga. -- PIA Kalinga
