39 top wanted persons arrested in Cordillera

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet — The Police Regional Office-Cordillera reported the arrest of 39 wanted persons, five of which were on the list of the top most wanted persons in a one-week manhunt operation.
    Deputy chief regional information officer Capt.Marnie Abellanida told newsmen of the 39 arrested wanted persons, Baguio recorded the highest number of arrests with 17, followed by Ifugao with seven, Abra and Benguet with five each, Kalinga with four and Mt. Province with one arrest.

    Abellanida said two on the TMWP list were arrested separately in Abra while another two were nabbed in different locations in Baguio City.

    In Abra, Jayson Pagal Sotelo, 33, was arrested in Barangay Naguirayan, Pidigan for rape with no bail recommended while Jonel Millare De Mesa was arrested in Lingtan, Bangued.

    Sotelo was listed as No. 9 TMWP (provincial level) while De Mesa was listed as No. 1 TMWP (municipal level).

    In Baguio City, Juver Baculi Dela Cruz, 33, was arrested in San Carlos Heights Ext., Baguio City for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) while Alquin Bautista Doctolero, 58,was arrested in Kayang Extension for estafa. 

    Dela Cruz was listed as No. 6 TMWP (station level) while Doctolero was listed as No. 4 TMWP (station level).

    In Benguet, Felipe Paciteng Munoz, 39, was arrested in Poblacion, Kibungan for violation of Republic Act 9165 with no bail recommended. Munoz was listed as No. 9 TMWP (regional level).
