Killer of Cagayan town administrator unknown

LASAM, Cagayan – Police are still trying to identify the gunman who shot dead the municipal administrator of this town found dead along the national highway here in Barangay Callao Norte early morning of Nov. 29.
    Probers are still conducting investigation to identify motive and perpetrators of the crime.
    Police Regional Office 2 information officer Lt. Col. Andree Abella identified the victim as Augustos Agatep, 55, resident of Callao Sur. Abella said police received a call at around 5 a.m. that Sunday, informing them that a man was found lying on a pool of blood on the national highway in Barangay Callao Norte.
    Philippine National Police and Bureau of Fire Protection responded to the call and found that it was Agatep. 
    He sustained several gunshot wounds in different parts of the body.
    Witnesses could not identify the assailants, who they saw flee on a motorcycle after the incident.
