3 men in ambush of ex- Pangasinan gov nabbed

SAN CARLOS CITY, Pangasinan -- Three men
tagged in the ambush on former Pangasinan governor Amado Espino Jr. in this
city in 2019 were arrested in San Juan, Batangas on Feb. 7.
Armando Frias, Albert Palisoc and Benjie Resultan, all of Urbiztondo, Pangasinan, were reportedly behind the ambush of Esp[ino Jr. wherein his security aide and driver were killed in the attack.
The suspects, who were included in the list of most wanted persons in Ilocos region, had standing arrest warrants for murder, frustrated murder and attempted murder as well as illegal possession of firearms and falsification of public document.
Probers said they recovered handguns, ammunition, a fake driver’s license and a car from the suspects.
