Naguillan group head withdraws to commies

Fernando City La Union- The adviser and coordinator of a people’s organization
withdrew his support from the communist underground movement last week in
Naguilian town.
Regional police in a report, said Reggie Ligsay of Gusing Sur, Naguilian, La Union, adviser and coordinator of Timpuyog dagiti Mannalon nga Umili ti Naguilian (TIMUN) and president of People Council for Change turned his back on the underground movement.
The backing out of Ligsay was facilitated by Naguilian police, Regional Intelligence Unit 1, 801st ODI and 580th ACWW Wallace Air Station. “TIMUN is the underground organization of Anal Pawis in Naguilian, La Union,” said the report.
“Signing of his oath of allegiance was done during the presence of personnel from MSWD, Naguilian MPS, LUPIU, 2nd LUPMFC, 80 1st ODI and 580th ACWW,” police said.
Ligsay is now under the custody of Naguilian PNP for debriefing, the report said.
